Tips for Completing Homework
Homework is given to students on a daily basis. They should be reading for 30 minutes per night, as well as completing 15-20 minutes of homework per night. I will send any work that your child has not finished in class. If you should require additional homework, click on the great educational websites link for more ideas. There are wonderful math games, language games etc. that can make learning fun and get you involved in the learning process!
Here are some tips on completing homework that your child will need as they start their junior years in school:
1. A quiet work place. This needs to be somewhere free from any distractions.
2. A quiet work time. Make homework time a regular routine in your home: you should try to make this the same every night so that it becomes a part of their routine.
3. Children should eat a small, healthy snack before starting homework. Healthy bodies equal healthy minds.
